Our Company

Palfab Ltd is one of Ireland’s largest specialist timber manufacturing and trading companies dealing in a comprehensive range of sawn softwood timber for the construction, fencing, garden leisure and handling and packaging industries. We were founded in 1977 and since then have grown steadily in tandem with increasing output from the Irish forestry industry and general growth in the Irish economy. In addition to producing our own sawn products, we also import part processed timber from Scandinavia, Russia, the Baltic States and mainland Europe.
Our main manufacturing operation is located at Lissarda near Cork City. Over the past twenty-five years, Palfab has kept abreast of technological change in the industry and to day operates state-of-the-art production facilities that enable a high degree of product flexibility and production to the highest international quality standards.
Palfab’s output is sold primarily on the Irish and UK markets. Proximity to Cork’s deep-water port and roll-on roll-off facilities is an important convenience for bulk importing and exporting
